To ensure that only genuine and eligible beneficiaries receive ration under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), the Madhya Pradesh government has launched a special e-KYC verification campaign from July 1 to July 15, 2025.
State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Shri Govind Singh Rajput, stated that the campaign aims to complete the pending e-KYC of remaining beneficiaries. Simultaneously, the names of deceased, ineligible, or non-existent individuals will be removed from the beneficiary lists after field verification.
District collectors have been instructed to assign ward in-charges, panchayat secretaries, and employment assistants for door-to-door verification. Lists of individuals who have not completed e-KYC will be displayed at fair price shops, gram panchayat offices, and ward offices to ensure public transparency.
Minister Rajput emphasized that those who fail to complete e-KYC within the campaign period will be presumed either non-existent, permanently migrated, or not in need have ration. Accordingly, their names will be considered for deletion from the official ration list.
