Farmers and traders, today’s major update comes from the country’s leading potato markets, where prices have shown sharp fluctuations. In many mandis of Haryana and Punjab, potato prices fell as low as ₹800 per quintal, while in Uttar Pradesh’s Maglaganj mandi, rates soared to ₹1,650 per quintal.
The highest arrivals were recorded in Gurugram mandi, Haryana (185.7 tonnes) and Patiala mandi, Punjab (71.5 tonnes), leading to weaker prices in these regions. Such variations are critical for farmers and traders, who rely on today’s mandi bhav and latest market prices to plan their selling and purchasing strategies.
