Farmers and traders, today’s major update comes from the country’s leading potato markets, where prices have shown sharp fluctuations. In many mandis of Haryana and Punjab, potato prices fell as low as ₹800 per quintal, while in Uttar Pradesh’s Maglaganj mandi, rates soared to ₹1,650 per quintal.

The highest arrivals were recorded in Gurugram mandi, Haryana (185.7 tonnes) and Patiala mandi, Punjab (71.5 tonnes), leading to weaker prices in these regions. • In low-arrival regions, prices may rise further in the coming days—farmers should keep a close watch on these mandis.
