Today’s onion market has presented a shocking contrast for both farmers and traders. While heavy arrivals in several mandis of Madhya Pradesh pushed onion prices to rock-bottom levels, select mandis in Rajasthan witnessed record highs for good-quality produce.
In some markets, onions were traded at just ₹200 per quintal, whereas in others, premium-quality onions fetched up to ₹2,500 per quintal. This sharp price gap has left farmers confused — sell now or hold stock? Which mandi offers the best returns today?
This daily mandi price update brings you the latest state-wise prices, arrival data, and clear analysis, helping you choose the right market at the right time to avoid losses and improve profitability.

Onion prices remained very weak across Madhya Pradesh mandis today. In Badnagar, heavy arrivals of 43.5 tonnes pushed prices down sharply to ₹200–₹400 per quintal, the lowest levels of the day. Prices in Indore, Rajgarh, and Porsa also stayed under pressure, mostly within the ₹400–₹600 range. In Khandwa, arrivals of 45 tonnes capped prices below ₹800, clearly indicating oversupply.
In contrast, Rajasthan mandis showed strong bullish momentum. At Bhilwara, with arrivals of just 0.8 tonnes, onion prices surged to ₹2,500 per quintal. Bhadra and Goluwala also recorded strong rates of ₹2,000–₹2,100 for 1st Sort onions. However, mandis with higher arrivals like Ajmer and Udaipur (40–68 tonnes) saw prices remain limited within ₹900–₹1,500.
