All eligible beneficiaries receiving ration under the Public Distribution System (PDS) in the district are now required to complete their eKYC. District Collector Mr. Balaguru K. has directed concerned officials to ensure that the eKYC process is completed for all remaining beneficiaries by May 31, 2025.
So far, out of 10,21,106 eligible beneficiaries, 9,01,765 have already completed their eKYC.
Collector Mr. Balaguru has appealed to all eligible ration card holders to complete their eKYC at the earliest to ensure the uninterrupted supply of ration benefits in the future.
For beneficiaries whose fingerprints do not match on the POS machine, the Collector advised using the “Mera eKYC” mobile app for facial authentication. The step-by-step process is as follows:
Instructions to Officials and Ration Dealers: The Collector also instructed that in cases where fingerprints fail, officials and ration shopkeepers must assist beneficiaries in completing Face eKYC via the app, ensuring that no eligible individual is left out of government schemes.
Important Reminder to the Public: All eligible citizens are strongly advised to complete their eKYC before May 31 by visiting their nearest Fair Price Shop or MP Online Center with the necessary documents.
Failure to do so may result in disruption of ration supply, as the Government of India may halt distribution for those without eKYC after the deadline.
