For farmers planning to sell their wheat, today’s mandi updates are crucial. Across India, wheat prices showed mixed trends. While some markets recorded rates above the MSP (₹2,425/quintal), others saw steep declines due to heavy arrivals.

Premium-quality Sharbati wheat brought relief to growers in Maharashtra, where Pune mandi witnessed prices touching ₹5,000/quintal. On the other hand, Rajasthan’s Duni mandi saw prices crash to just ₹2,395/quintal, falling below the MSP.

Uttar Pradesh, large inflows of wheat created downward pressure on prices, whereas in certain markets of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, low arrivals pushed rates higher.

Price & Arrival Analysis:

Highest Price → Pune (Maharashtra), where Sharbati wheat sold up to ₹5,000/quintal.
Lowest Price → Duni (Rajasthan), where rates dipped to just ₹2,395/quintal, below MSP.
Heavy Arrivals → Uttar Pradesh mandis: Ghaziabad (1,506 tonnes), Auraiya (600 tonnes), Varanasi (520 tonnes), Lalitpur (450 tonnes).
Low Supply, High Prices → Sangli (₹4,800/quintal on 30.3 tonnes) and Satna (₹3,139/quintal).
Below MSP → Duni and Baran mandis in Rajasthan.

Sharbati wheat in Pune and markets like Sangli are fetching excellent prices – selling here can yield good profits.
