A mild fluctuation in wheat prices was observed across major markets in the country today. In several key mandis of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, wheat continued to trade above the MSP of ₹2,425 per quintal. Notably, premium-quality Dara wheat received higher prices, while average-quality wheat remained close to the MSP.
Despite limited arrivals, wheat prices stayed strong in the Sriganganagar region of Rajasthan and in Bassi mandi. Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh, Mughra Badshahpur emerged as the highest-paying mandi of the day, where wheat fetched up to ₹2,710 per quintal. This indicates that farmers focusing on quality can expect even better prices in the coming days.
