Some markets recorded higher prices for premium-quality rice, while in others, prices remained stable due to higher arrivals. Rice Prices in Uttar Pradesh:
- Anandnagar market, around 1 tonne of III-grade rice arrived. Rice prices ranged between ₹2,800 and ₹3,200 per quintal. The arrival of fresh rice kept local traders interested.
- Bachranwa market, approximately 10 tonnes of common rice arrived. Rice prices ranged between ₹3,150 and ₹3,175 per quintal, remaining stable as buyers traded according to demand.
- Bangarmau market, the highest arrival of 80 tonnes of III-grade rice was recorded today. Rice prices ranged between ₹3,120 and ₹3,220 per quintal. Despite high arrivals, demand for good-quality rice remained strong.
- Doharighat market, 1 tonne of 1009 Karan variety rice arrived. Rice prices reached ₹3,900–₹4,000 per quintal, which can be considered the highest rates in this region.
- Faizabad market, around 150 tonnes of coarse rice arrived. Rice prices remained between ₹3,100 and ₹3,200 per quintal, indicating a stable market for local farmers.
- Jangipura market, 27 tonnes of III-grade rice arrived. Rice prices ranged between ₹3,400 and ₹4,000 per quintal, proving profitable for high-quality rice.
- Kishunpur market, 0.1 tonne of common rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹2,420 and ₹2,460 per quintal.
- Lalganj market, 6 tonnes of common rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹2,800 and ₹2,900 per quintal.
- IMugrabadshahpur market, 23 tonnes of common rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹3,260 and ₹3,460 per quintal.
- INautanwa market, 0.2 tonne of III-grade rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹2,800 and ₹3,100 per quintal.
- Panchpedwa market, 5 tonnes of III-grade rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹2,600 and ₹3,200 per quintal.
- Raebareli market, around 122 tonnes of common rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹3,125 and ₹3,175 per quintal.
- Salon market, 14 tonnes of rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹3,100 and ₹3,110 per quintal.
- Tamkui Road market, 9.5 tonnes of III-grade rice arrived. Prices ranged between ₹2,850 and ₹2,900 per quintal.
- Uttaripura market, the highest arrival of 236 tonnes of III-grade rice was recorded today. Rice prices ranged between ₹3,180 and ₹3,280 per quintal.
Advice for Farmers:
- Farmers with III-grade or high-quality rice can consider selling in Jangipura, Doharighat, and Uttaripura markets, as prices here range between ₹3,400 and ₹4,000 per quintal.
- Farmers with common rice varieties can target Raebareli, Bachranwa, and Salon markets, where prices are stable and quick sales are possible.
- Farmers with smaller quantities of rice may prefer selling locally in smaller markets to reduce storage costs and ensure fresh sales.
