Price and Arrival Analysis

Today, Maharashtra’s wheat markets showed a bullish trend across most mandis.

  • Sharbati wheat reached a new high of ₹5,000 per quintal in Pune, marking today’s top mandi price.
  • Despite massive arrivals of 615 MT, Mumbai APMC recorded prices up to ₹5,800 per quintal, clearly indicating very strong demand.

In contrast, mandis like Karmala, Latur, and Sindkhed Raja saw regular wheat trading close to MSP levels, with minimum prices dropping to ₹2000.

Sharbati wheat remained in high demand in Nagpur, Pune, and Solapur, where better grain quality fetched significantly higher rates.

In terms of arrivals:

  3.  Sell in Low-Arrival Mandis: Markets with low arrivals Kalyan, Rahuri, Lasalgaon are offering strong prices. Selling here can yield higher returns.
  4.  High-Arrival Markets Also Showing Strong Rates: Even in markets with large arrivals like Mumbai and Solapur, prices are high due to strong demand. Good price trends are likely to continue.
