In contrast, the prices of regular-quality wheat remained close to MSP in many markets. Latur (Murud) reported the lowest prices, ranging between ₹2,000–2,400 per quintal.

Terms of arrivals, there was a major imbalance across the state. Mumbai APMC saw an inflow of over 708 tonnes, the highest among all markets today. Markets with lower arrivals recorded stronger prices, while those with heavy supply showed slight pressure on rates.

Farmers’ Advisory (For Better Selling Decisions):

  1. For farmers with premium/Sharbati wheat: Mumbai, Pune and Solapur APMC offered the highest prices today selling here can yield excellent returns.
  2. For farmers with regular wheat: Markets offering prices above MSP such as Akola, Amravati, and Beed are good options to consider.
  3. For farmers holding large stock: There are early signs of rising export demand in the coming days. Storing wheat and selling later may fetch even better prices.
