Sahjanwa Mandi Sets New Record with ₹1,705 per Quintal: The highlight of the day came from Sahjanwa mandi, where the arrival of just 1 tonne of the Potato variety fetched a record-high price of ₹1,705 per quintal — the highest in the entire state today.
Firozabad and Fatehpur Also See High Prices: Firozabad mandi saw a large arrival of 240 tonnes and recorded a maximum price of ₹1,430 per quintal — a great return for bulk sellers. Similarly, in Fatehpur, prices reached ₹1,330, offering good profits to local farmers.
Low Prices in Some Mandis — ₹700 per Quintal: While some mandis witnessed high returns, others like Shahabad and Kairana reported minimum prices as low as ₹700 per quintal, showing that price differences are still heavily based on quality, demand, and arrivals.
