The strongest price surge was recorded in Panvel mandi, where tomato prices touched ₹5,000–₹6,000 per quintal, the highest level today. Mumbai APMC, Pune (Manjari), and Kamthi also witnessed prices above ₹4,000.
Delhi’s Azadpur mandi, despite heavy arrivals of 638.7 tonnes, maximum prices remained firm at ₹4,800, while Ghazipur and Keshopur markets stayed stable near ₹4,000.
On the other hand, Ahmednagar and Mangalvedha saw sharp weakness, with minimum prices dropping to ₹500–₹700 per quintal, indicating oversupply or quality concerns. In low-arrival mandis like Kalyan, Patan, and Pune (Pimpri), limited supply helped prices remain relatively strong.
