• Heavy Arrivals: Bareilly (513.5 tonnes), Allahabad (360 tonnes), Lucknow (340 tonnes), Gorakhpur (300 tonnes), Varanasi (325 tonnes)
• Strong Jump: Solapur (Maharashtra) – Other variety touched ₹7,200/quintal
• Weak Prices: Farrukhabad, Gonda, and Fatehpur remained around ₹3,000/quintal

 Advisory for Farmers:

1. Farmers growing Basmati rice should take advantage of high prices in Allahabad, Varanasi, and Lucknow and sell immediately.
2. In heavy arrival mandis like Bareilly, Gorakhpur, and Ballia, prices are under pressure – storing rice may fetch better rates later.
3. In Maharashtra and Gujarat, lower arrivals are supporting higher prices – selling now can be profitable.
4. With the upcoming festive season and export demand, rice prices may improve further. Farmers are advised to plan sales strategically.
