The strongest price surge today was recorded at Kamthi APMC in Maharashtra, where extremely low arrivals of just 0.3 tonnes pushed potato prices to ₹2,060–₹2,560 per quintal. Chandrapur and Vaduj mandis also witnessed firm prices, with rates ranging between ₹1,800 and ₹2,000 per quintal.
In contrast, Madhya Pradesh markets remained under heavy pressure. In Shajapur, potatoes were sold for as low as ₹150 per quintal, while Indore, with massive arrivals of 486 tonnes, saw prices limited to ₹275–₹978 per quintal.
