Vegetable markets across Uttar Pradesh witnessed major fluctuations in potato prices today. While some mandis reported stable prices for desi potato varieties, several districts saw a sharp rise in rates.
The biggest jump came from Doharighat, where potato prices touched ₹2,400 per quintal, the highest in the state. On the other hand, many mandis are still trading between ₹700–₹1,100 per quintal, making the overall market highly volatile.
