On the other hand, Bihar mandis such as Barbigha and Sheikhpura saw Super Ponni paddy trading in a limited range of ₹2,300–₹2,370, which is relatively weaker compared to northern mandis.
Despite low arrivals, Samraniya mandi in Rajasthan could not cross ₹2,400.
In terms of arrivals, Hansi (3,269 tonnes) and Sirsa (1,018 tonnes) recorded heavy inflow, yet prices remained strong a clear sign of robust market demand.
