The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare is organizing the National Agricultural Conference – Rabi Campaign 2025 on 15th and 16th September 2025 at the Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium, Pusa Complex, New Delhi.
This two-day conference will serve as a collaborative platform for agricultural experts, scientists, policymakers, and senior representatives from state governments across the country to discuss the preparedness, production targets, and strategies for the Rabi season 2025–26 in detail.
The conference will be chaired by the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The event will also witness the participation of Agriculture Ministers from various states, Secretaries of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and DARE, the Director General of ICAR, and senior officials from other related ministries and departments.
The leadership of Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chouhan, this is the first time the Rabi Conference is being held over two days.
For the first time, scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) have also been invited to participate. Their regional expertise and ground-level insights will contribute significantly to the development of effective agricultural strategies.
The conference will also facilitate the sharing of successful programs and best practices from various states, promoting inter-state learning and adoption. Discussions will also cover important topics such as weather forecasting, fertilizer management, agricultural research, and technological innovation.
A Key Step Towards Enhancing Farmers’ Income and National Food Security The Rabi Conference 2025 aims to set the roadmap for the upcoming season while focusing on increasing farmers’ income, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and ensuring national food security. It marks a significant step forward in aligning agricultural planning with the needs of both the farmers and the nation.
