The good news is that in some markets, today’s maize prices crossed the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹2225 per quintal, offering relief to farmers.
The highlight of the day was Kayamganj mandi, where maize prices peaked at ₹2250/quintal, slightly above the MSP. Other mandis like Badaun, Bisoli, and Babrala also reported favorable rates close to or above MSP, benefiting local farmers.
