In a special gesture ahead of Rakshabandhan, the Madhya Pradesh government will transfer ₹1,500 each to 1.26 crore women beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana on August 7. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will initiate the direct benefit transfer of ₹1,859.01 crore from Narsinghgarh in Rajgarh district through a single-click event.
This amount includes the regular monthly installment of ₹1,250 and an additional ₹250 as a festive gift for Rakshabandhan, bringing the total to ₹1,500 per beneficiary.

Empowering Women through Ladli Bahna Yojana:

Launched in 2023, the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana aims to economically empower women, improve their health and nutritional status, and enhance their participation in family and societal decision-making. Eligible beneficiaries include married, widowed, divorced, and abandoned women aged between 21 and 59 years, who receive ₹1,250 per month as financial assistance. As of July 2025, a total expenditure of ₹6,198.88 crore has been incurred under the scheme in FY 2025-26.

Additional Support for LPG Refilling:

During the state-level event in Narsinghgarh, CM Dr. Yadav will also provide LPG refill assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and the state’s special tribal welfare program. Over 28 lakh women, including non-category registered Ladli Bahnas, will receive ₹43.90 crore towards LPG cylinder refills. The Chief Minister is also scheduled to participate in a roadshow in Narsinghgarh as part of the day’s program.
