The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued its latest weather forecast and warnings for the next seven days, predicting widespread rain activity across the country. Many regions are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall, accompanied by strong winds and lightning.
Weather conditions in Delhi-NCR have taken a pleasant turn in recent days. Intermittent rain and overcast skies have brought much-needed relief from the summer heat in the capital and surrounding areas. According to the IMD, light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds is expected to continue in the region until July 15.
Madhya Pradesh is expected to receive consistent heavy rainfall between July 11 and 16, while Vidarbha is likely to experience heavy rain from July 11 to 13.
Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand are forecasted to witness intensified rainfall activity from July 11 to 14.
East Madhya Pradesh may receive very heavy rainfall on July 11 and 12, and West Madhya Pradesh from July 11 to 14.
These regions may also experience thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30–40 km/h, accompanied by light to moderate rain throughout the period.
Today’s Weather in Delhi: Delhi is expected to remain under a blanket of clouds throughout the day, with the possibility of light drizzles in some areas. The weather will remain pleasant, with minimum temperatures ranging between 23–25°C and maximum temperatures around 34°C.
Weather Outlook for Delhi-NCR This Weekend: According to IMD forecasts 12 and 13 July, will also see cloudy skies and light rain across the Delhi-NCR region. The maximum temperature may rise up to 35°C, while the minimum is expected to stay around 24°C. Areas such as Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Greater Noida are also likely to receive light rainfall.
