The monsoon has become active again in North India, and many states like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh weather today, Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh are likely to see heavy rainfall in the coming days.
The weather department has warned of very heavy rain in parts of Rajasthan on July 14 and 15. Some places could receive more than 21 cm of rain, which may cause waterlogging and affect normal life. Rain is expected to continue in different areas of the state till July 16.
Eastern Uttar Pradesh, good rainfall is expected from July 15 to 18, with very heavy showers likely on July 16. Western UP may get more rain on July 17 and 18. This rain could help crops, but some low-lying areas might face waterlogging problems.
On Sunday evening, several parts of Delhi saw strong rainfall, giving people relief from the humid weather. Wind speeds during the rain reached up to 55 to 57 km/h in some places. However, waterlogging on roads caused traffic problems. The forecast for Monday includes cloudy skies and light to moderate rain. Temperatures may stay around 33°C.
Hills of North India to See Rain with Thunder: Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir will likely get rain on and off from July 14 to 19. There is also a chance of lightning and strong winds. People and tourists in these hilly areas are advised to be careful.
Rain Likely in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh: Haryana and Chandigarh may get good rain on July 14, which could bring relief from the heat. Punjab is expected to see rainfall around July 16, which will be helpful for farming activities.
Rainy Weather to Continue for a Week: As per the weather department, most parts of North India—including plains and hills—will see light to moderate rain over the next seven days. Some areas may also get thunderstorms and lightning. People are advised to check weather updates and stay safe during this rainy period.
