Farmers, today’s mandi report for green ginger shows significant price fluctuations across major markets in India. While some markets experienced rising rates, others saw prices remain moderate.
Notably, Damanagar in Gujarat set a new record, with prices reaching ₹7,500–₹8,000 per quintal, the highest in the country today. Meanwhile, markets in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan reported rates between ₹4,000 and ₹6,000 per quintal.
Market experts attribute this surge to low arrivals and increasing demand. If this trend continues, prices may climb further in the coming weeks.
