Dear Farmers, On May 5, 2025, a dramatic difference in garlic prices was observed across major mandis of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. On one hand, Shri Ganganagar Mandi in Rajasthan crossed the ₹10,000 per quintal mark — setting a new seasonal record. On the other hand, some mandis recorded prices below ₹3,000, leaving many farmers disappointed.
This wide price gap isn't just due to location or quantity, but also depends on garlic quality, variety, and market demand. That’s why it’s crucial to stay informed about today’s mandi rates and know where your garlic can fetch the highest price.
