  • Highest Price: Fazilka, Punjab recorded prices up to ₹15,000 per quintal. Tanda Urmur (Punjab) and Hansi (Haryana) also saw rates reaching ₹10,000 per quintal.
  • Lowest Price: Bhopal, MP saw prices drop to just ₹1,000 per quintal, while Indore traded between ₹2,200–₹2,900.
  • Highest Arrivals: Ghirour, UP (270 tonnes) and Jaipur, Rajasthan (136.2 tonnes), keeping prices moderate at ₹3,000–₹8,000.
  • Lowest Arrivals: Fazilka, Jalalabad, Bassi Pathana, and Hansi (<0.1–0.3 tonnes), resulting in very high prices.

Tips for Farmers

  1. High-price markets: Sell high-quality garlic in Fazilka, Hansi, Tanda Urmur, and similar markets to maximize profits.
  2. Markets with heavy arrivals: In Ghirour, Jaipur, and other high-supply markets, prices are under pressure—hold stock if storage is available.
  3. Small markets: Limited arrivals often mean higher prices; keep an eye on nearby smaller mandis for better returns.
