The farmer registry campaign in the district is progressing rapidly. In the past week alone, registrations of 3,813 farmers were completed. With this, the total number of registered farmers has reached 139,377, achieving 84.33% of the set target. The district aims to complete the registry of 165,270 farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
According to the Office of the Superintendent of Land Records, Shahpura recorded the highest weekly registration with 911 farmers. Panagar Tehsil has emerged as the front-runner with 91.28% registrations completed—13,494 out of 14,783 farmers.
Other tehsils are also showing steady progress. So far, registrations have been completed for 20,803 farmers in Shahpura, 22,153 in Patan, 23,977 in Majholi, 22,223 in Sihora, 144 in Adhartal, 221 in Ranjhi, and 473 in Gorakhpur.
Farmers can register conveniently from home by downloading the Farmer Sahayak MP mobile application. So far, 16,406 farmers have completed registration through the app. In addition, farmers can also register through Patwaris, village survey assistants, MP Online kiosks, or Common Service Centers by paying a nominal fee.
