CM Dr. Mohan Yadav implements the Bhavantar Scheme to ensure full MSP benefits for soybean crop

Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Shri Edal Singh Kansana stated that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is fully committed to the welfare and upliftment of farmers in Madhya Pradesh. To ensure that soybean growers receive the full benefits of the Minimum Support Price (MSP), the state government has implemented the Bhavantar Payment Scheme. Along with this, several other farmer-centric initiatives are being actively administered. The state government remains determined to safeguard farmers from financial losses under any circumstance.

Soybean Model Rate Fixed at ₹4,033 per Quintal on 8 November:

Agriculture Minister announced that under Bhavantar Payment Scheme 2025, the model rate for soybean has been fixed at ₹4,033 per quintal for 8 November. This rate applies to farmers who have sold their produce in regulated market yards (mandis). The difference payment (Bhavantar amount) will be calculated based on this model rate to ensure farmers receive fair compensation.

Strong Farmer Participation in Bhavantar Scheme:

There has been an overwhelming response from farmers across the state. So far:

  • More than 9.36 lakh farmers have registered for the scheme
  • Sales are underway in 243 mandis and sub-mandis
  • 1,44,180 farmers have sold over 24.67 lakh quintals of soybean

Top Mandis Reporting Highest Soybean Arrivals:

The highest procurement has been recorded in the Ganj Basoda, Dewas, Ujjain, Indore, and Agar mandi committees. Procurement and payment processes across all mandis are being conducted smoothly, transparently, and without disruptions, ensuring ease for farmers.

Additional Benefit of ₹1,300 per Quintal for Farmers: The minister further announced that soybean farmers will receive an additional incentive of ₹1,300 per quintal over and above the MSP. This amount will be directly transferred to eligible farmers on 13 November 2025, offering them substantial financial support and improved income security.
