Madhya Pradesh witnessed major fluctuations in wheat prices today. Several mandis, wheat prices went beyond ₹3,000 per quintal, while in some, they remained below the MSP of ₹2,425 per quintal. Rising arrivals from farmers and strong trade demand have once again revived wheat trading activity across the state.
Experts believe that if demand continues to rise, prices may see further improvement by the second week of November. As of now, wheat is being sold between ₹2,400 and ₹3,000 per quintal, giving farmers both hope and profit.
