The weather across India is changing once again. In Delhi-NCR, where cloudy skies brought slight relief a few days ago, temperatures are now rising again.
On Monday, the temperature in Delhi may go up to 42°C, with a minimum of around 26°C. The weather department has predicted partly cloudy skies, but no major relief from the heat is expected.
After recent rains, Uttar Pradesh is likely to experience a significant rise in temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will remain clear from April 21, and dry weather is expected across the state from April 22 to 26. During this time, temperatures may increase by 3 to 5°C, and a heatwave alert has been issued for some areas between April 22 and 24.
The weather department has also warned of possible heatwaves in parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh. People are advised to avoid going out during peak afternoon hours.
Rain and Snow Expected in the Hills: In higher regions of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, there is a chance of rain and snowfall. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also likely in these areas.
Weather to Shift in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Northeast Cloudy skies and rain with strong winds are expected today in Bihar and Jharkhand. Similar weather conditions may also be seen in northeastern states like Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh.
