Due to a western disturbance, the weather in Uttar Pradesh has become slightly cooler. After rainfall in several areas over the past two days, the heat is now making a comeback. However, Sunday morning began with cool winds, which brought some relief.
Today, on 20th April, light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. In some areas, strong winds and dusty storms may also occur.
Districts in western UP such as Saharanpur, Meerut, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Moradabad may see light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms. People in these areas may experience sudden weather changes.
The capital city Lucknow, the weather will remain partly cloudy today. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 37°C, while the minimum may be about 24°C. The sky may remain cloudy, and light drizzles are possible. It might feel humid, but light rain could provide some relief.
Night Temperatures May Rise in Some Areas:
Districts like Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and nearby regions may experience warmer nights. People may feel the heat during nighttime.
Bundelkhand to Remain Hot:
On the other hand, the Bundelkhand region is expected to stay hot. The temperature here may remain above normal, and strong sunlight might cause discomfort.
Clear Weather Expected from 21st to 25th April
From 21st to 25th April, the weather across the state is likely to remain clear and dry. During this period, there is no forecast of rain or strong winds.
