The weather across several northern states of India is expected to shift in the coming days. While some regions will experience rainfall and thunderstorms, others will continue to face extreme heat conditions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued regional forecasts and alerts for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi-NCR, and Rajasthan.
Western Uttar Pradesh is likely to witness light rain and thunderstorms, while parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh may see temperatures exceeding 40°C. In Lucknow, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 42°C. The IMD has issued an alert for rain accompanied by gusty winds.
Bihar remains under the grip of a heatwave. Cities including Patna may experience temperatures above 40°C. While some areas may receive light rain, the overall weather is expected to stay predominantly hot and dry.
Delhi-NCR: Chance of Light Rain Brings Some Relief: In Delhi and surrounding regions, partly cloudy skies are expected tomorrow. The maximum temperature may reach 38°C, with a minimum of 27°C. There is a possibility of light rain or drizzle, which could bring slight relief from the prevailing heat. Wind speeds will range between 6–12 km/h, with moderate humidity levels.
Rajasthan: Heat and Dust Storms Expected: Rajasthan will continue to face hot and dry weather conditions, although light rain and strong winds may provide brief relief in some areas. In addition, the IMD has issued a warning for dust storms and gusty winds in several parts of the state.
