Today, the highest garlic price was recorded in Hansi and Narnaul markets of Haryana, where the maximum rate reached ₹12,000 per quintal. In Punjab’s Bassi Pathana market, good-quality garlic was also sold for up to ₹11,000 per quintal.
On the other hand, the lowest prices were seen in Karnal’s New Grain Market, where garlic traded between ₹3,000 and ₹5,000 per quintal.
In terms of arrivals, Delhi’s Azadpur market recorded the highest supply with about 166.7 tons of garlic. Due to the heavy arrivals, prices there ranged widely from ₹4,000 to ₹11,000 per quintal.
Meanwhile, in many markets of Haryana and Punjab, arrivals remained below 1 ton, which helped maintain relatively strong prices.
