Up to 50% Subsidy on Farm Machinery SMAM Scheme, Last Date to Apply is June 30, 2025

To empower farmers economically, the Rajasthan Government is providing subsidies of up to 50% on the purchase of modern agricultural equipment under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM) scheme. Farmers can apply online for this scheme through e-Mitra centers or the Raj Kisan Sathi Portal until June 30, 2025.

Up to 50% Subsidy on Farm Machinery:

The SMAM scheme, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), small and marginal farmers, and women farmers are eligible for a subsidy of up to 50%, while other categories of farmers will receive a 40% subsidy. The primary objective of the scheme is to increase farmers’ income and make agricultural work easier and more modern.

Required Documents for Subsidy:

1. To apply for the subsidy, farmers must have the following documents:
2. Land ownership record in the name of the farmer
3. Tractor registration (RC) in the farmer’s name
4. Aadhaar card linked to the mobile number

Soil Health Card:

1. Latest copy of land record (Jamabandi)
2. Tractor’s registration certificate (RC)
3. Quotation of the agricultural implement, clearly stating tractor BHP and the farmer’s category

List of Eligible Agricultural Equipment:

The Rajasthan Government is offering subsidies on the following modern farm implements:

1. Rotavator
2. Thresher
3. Cultivator
4. Bund Former
5. Reaper
6. Fertilizer Drill
7. Harrow
8. Plough

Subsidy Limited to One Equipment in Three Years: According to the guidelines, a farmer is eligible to receive a subsidy on only one agricultural machine once every three years. If a farmer submits multiple applications, only one will be approved for administrative sanction, and all others will be automatically canceled. Timely application submission with all required documents is essential to benefit from this scheme.
