The intense heat in Delhi-NCR has made daily life difficult for people. In the last week of April, the sun’s heat has increased significantly, causing people to avoid stepping out during the afternoon. Roads and tourist spots are mostly empty, and there is a sharp rise in the demand for coolers and air conditioners in the market.

Weather Department Issues Heatwave Alert:

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of a heatwave in Delhi-NCR on April 25 and 26. The warning for April 24 has been withdrawn. In the coming days, temperatures may rise up to 42°C. The only relief is that night temperatures have slightly dropped and are now around 21-22°C.

No Chance of Rain:

The IMD has also mentioned that no western disturbance is expected in the next 2-3 days, which means there is no chance of rain. As a result, the heat may increase even more.

Bihar Also Facing Heatwave Conditions:

The weather in Bihar is also changing rapidly. A few days ago, there were incidents of rain and lightning, but now the region is experiencing extreme heat and heatwave conditions.

Districts on Alert for Heatwave: On April 24 and 25, several districts in North Bihar are at risk of heatwave, especially West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, and Sheohar. Meanwhile, high temperatures are also being recorded in southern districts like Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Buxar, and Aurangabad.

Possible Weather Change from April 26: According to the Patna Meteorological Centre, the weather in Bihar might change from April 26. Rain, strong winds, and lightning are expected, which could bring some relief from the ongoing heat.
