Advice for Farmers

  1. Farmers with 1009 or Laskari varieties should target high-demand markets such as Pune, Sangli, and Dahod to secure premium rates.
  2. In mandis with heavy arrivals like Mumbai and Solapur, prices may soften in the coming days. If storage facilities are available, holding the stock could be profitable.
  3. Since the demand for high-quality rice remains strong, ensure proper cleaning, sorting, and grading before sending your produce to market.
  4. Small farmers should take advantage of low-arrival days in nearby mandis to get better bidding and improved price realization.
