For farmers and traders involved in onion cultivation and trading, today’s mandi report brings important updates. On 10 November 2025, several major mandis of Uttar Pradesh witnessed a mild rise in onion prices. While some markets remained stable, others reported a sharp increase especially in red onion rates that touched record highs.
Lucknow, Sant Kabir Nagar, and Pilibhit, prices mostly stayed between ₹1,000 and ₹1,500 per quintal, but the biggest surprise came from Magalganj Mandi in Lakhimpur Kheri, where red onions were sold for as high as ₹2,900 per quintal.
Across the state, price movements were mixed but overall positive creating a favorable window for farmers to plan their sales. Those with good-quality onions can take advantage of the current demand and sell at premium markets to earn higher profits.
