To empower small street vendors across urban areas, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has provided loans worth ₹2,078 crore to over 13.46 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme. Beneficiaries are being trained in financial and digital literacy, e-commerce, packaging, food safety, and hygiene to help them adapt to modern market systems and improve their livelihoods.
