The government has further called for efforts to increase farmers' participation in crop insurance schemes and ensure timely maintenance of roads affected by rainfall.
Transparent Crop Damage Assessment and Relief:
In districts affected by excessive rainfall or waterlogging, revenue teams have been instructed to conduct transparent assessments of crop damage. Eligible affected farmers will be provided assistance under the applicable disaster relief provisions following the assessment process. Authorities have also been directed to ensure adequate availability of medicines in every district to prevent and control rain-related infectious diseases.
