Registration for Moong Procurement Begins from June 19 to July 5 — Farmers Urged to Register on Time

The registration process for moong (green gram) procurement in Bhopal district under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) of the Government of India will be conducted from June 19 to July 5, 2025. The procurement will be done for the marketing year 2025-26 at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹8,575 per quintal.

Procurement Centers Designated: To facilitate moong procurement, Karond Mandi and Berasia Mandi in Bhopal district have been selected as the designated procurement centers.

Documents Required for Registration:

According to Smt. Suman Prasad, Deputy Director, Department of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development, Bhopal, the following documents are mandatory for registration:

1. Aadhaar number
2. Farmer’s name
3. Copy of Khasra/Khatauni (land ownership record)
4. Bank passbook
5. Mobile number
6. Land-related details

Important Guidelines before Registration:

1. Farmers must ensure their Aadhaar number is linked with their bank account and mobile number.
2. Every family member having land in their name must register separately.
3. If the land is situated in a different district, registration must be done in that respective district only.
4. In cases where a farmer owns land at multiple locations, registration for all such lands will be accepted at a single designated center.

Registration Options for Farmers: Free Registration: Available through the MP Kisan App at Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat, and Tehsil offices.
Paid Registration (₹50 per entry): Can be done at MP Online kiosks, Common Service Centers (CSCs), Lok Seva Kendras, and private cyber cafés.

Appeal from Agriculture Department: Farmers are strongly advised to complete their registration well before the deadline of July 5, 2025. No applications will be accepted after this date. Farmers should ensure that all documents are updated to avoid any disruptions in the process.
