Sagar Mandi Tops with ₹3,170/Quintal - Highest in the State: On this day, Sagar mandi recorded the highest wheat price at ₹3,170 per quintal, setting a new local benchmark. Similarly, Neemuch mandi reported a top rate of ₹2,880, signaling that high quality and controlled supply brought better returns.

Some Mandis Still Below MSP:

While certain mandis saw strong rates, others fell below the MSP of ₹2,425. For example:

  • Berasia reported a minimum price of ₹2,200, which is ₹225 lower than MSP.
  • Ghansor had a maximum price of just ₹2,400, again under the government benchmark.

Demand for Mill Quality & Organic Wheat: Many mandis saw increased arrivals of Mill Quality wheat, particularly in Bamora, Betul, Berasia, and Bina. These varieties found moderate demand.
Only Balaghat mandi reported Organic wheat, which traded at a flat ₹2,300 per quintal.

Indore & Bhopal Mandis Show Strength: Indore, the popular Malwa Shakti variety sold between ₹2,565 and ₹2,580, remaining above the MSP. Meanwhile, Bhopal mandi offered up to ₹2,800, giving farmers a much-needed boost.

What Farmers Are Saying: Many farmers expressed concern over inconsistent pricing. While some secured good rates for high-quality produce, others struggled to even cover costs, especially in mandis where prices were well below MSP.
