Farmers in Madhya Pradesh witnessed a strong rally in garlic prices on 27 May 2026, as several major mandis reported sharp gains due to limited supply and strong market demand. According to today’s mandi update, high-quality garlic fetched record prices in multiple markets, giving farmers an excellent opportunity to earn better profits.
The biggest highlight of the day was Daloda mandi, where garlic market prices surged to an impressive ₹20,500 per quintal. Bhopal and Jawra mandis also recorded prices above ₹18,000 per quintal, attracting significant attention from both farmers and traders.
Meanwhile, Indore Fruit & Vegetable Market reported the highest arrivals, with more than 444 tonnes of garlic reaching the mandi. Despite heavy arrivals, demand remained strong, and premium-quality produce continued to receive higher prices.
Market experts believe that the garlic trade is currently driven mainly by quality and supply. Large-sized, dry, and well-cleaned garlic is receiving premium rates, while average-quality produce is trading at comparatively lower prices.
