Price Trends: Where Did Garlic Prices Rise and Where Did They Fall?

Today’s garlic market showed mixed signals:

  • In Maharashtra, Pune (Moshi) held firm at ₹8000/quintal, while Rahata ranged from ₹4000–₹6000 depending on quality and demand.
  • Uttar Pradesh showed strong and stable prices. Allahabad recorded a maximum of ₹6615/quintal, with Lucknow and Raebareli staying in the ₹6300–₹6500 range indicating steady demand in the region.
  • In Rajasthan, prices surged in mandis like Suratgarh and Sriganganagar, crossing ₹7000/quintal in some cases. Jodhpur also touched ₹7000 among the day’s top rates.
  • However, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) saw garlic prices dip as low as ₹1500, signaling major disparities in quality and arrivals.

  • If you have high-quality garlic, this is a good time to release stock gradually. With the festive season approaching, prices may continue to rise.
