To accelerate development and ensure inclusive growth, the Madhya Pradesh government has launched four transformative missions Garib Kalyan Mission, Yuva Shakti Mission, Kisan Kalyan Mission, and the Devi Ahilya Nari Shakti Mission. Dedicated roadmaps have been developed for each of these missions, and effective implementation is already underway. The Chief Minister has expressed confidence that the empowerment of all sections of society will lead Madhya Pradesh to new heights of progress.
This mission aims to strengthen social security by providing timely support to economically weaker and marginalized communities. It also focuses on promoting economic self-reliance through employment-linked schemes. The mission ensures improved access to basic services such as health, education, and housing. It is a pioneering initiative of the state government to ensure that government schemes and essential services are easily accessible to the underprivileged.
Launched on January 12, 2025, on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission aims to empower the youth of Madhya Pradesh with advanced skills in modern technology, entrepreneurship, and sports. The mission will prepare the state's youth for the global job market and foster a culture of entrepreneurship. Skill development courses are being made available through online platforms, ensuring accessibility for youth from both urban and rural areas. Social media is being actively used to spread awareness and connect with young people across the state.
Approved by the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet on April 15, the Kisan Kalyan Mission is designed to bring prosperity to farmers and stability to the agricultural sector. It promotes crop diversification and allied activities such as animal husbandry and fisheries. The mission also provides financial support and technical guidance for agriculture-based enterprises. Initiatives such as organic farming, access to e-commerce platforms, direct market linkage, and local agricultural fairs aim to help farmer’s secure fair prices for their produce. Subsidies on seeds, fertilizers, and farming equipment are also helping to reduce the cost of cultivation.
Devi Ahilya Nari Shakti Mission: This mission was launched during a cabinet meeting held in Maheshwar to commemorate the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. The mission is dedicated to empowering women by ensuring equal opportunities in social and economic spheres. It includes initiatives such as vocational training, employment opportunities, financial support, mentorship, and the promotion of women-led entrepreneurship.
