The sharpest surge in garlic prices was recorded at Kalyan APMC in Maharashtra, where extremely low arrivals (just 0.3 tonnes) pushed prices to ₹18,000 per quintal. Strong price levels were also observed in Pune, Akola, and Nagpur, with rates ranging between ₹15,000 and ₹16,000 per quintal.
Contrast, Nashik and Sangli saw comparatively weaker prices, where minimum rates dropped to ₹2,500–₹3,000 per quintal. In Rajasthan’s Chhoti Sadri mandi, a wide price gap from ₹2,690 to ₹16,201 clearly reflected quality-based trading.
In terms of arrivals, Azadpur Mandi in Delhi recorded the highest inflow (175.8 tonnes), keeping prices capped near ₹12,000 per quintal. On the other hand, mandis with very low arrivals such as Kalyan, Ramtek, Churu, and Ajmer continued to witness stronger prices.
