The Department of Agricultural Engineering has extended the deadline for farmers to apply for subsidies on agricultural machinery, including the Super Seeder. The new last date to submit applications is April 28, 2025. This decision was taken due to underachievement of the target, aiming to allow more farmers to benefit from the scheme.
According to the Agriculture Department, while the application deadline has been extended, all other terms and conditions of the scheme remain unchanged. The lottery process will be conducted on April 29 via the official portal. Selected farmers will receive subsidies on the agricultural equipment of their choice.
Farmers must submit a Demand Draft (DD) along with their online application. The DD amount varies depending on the equipment selected. Below is the list of implements and their corresponding DD amounts:

Subsidy Benefits: 40% to 60%: his scheme, farmers can avail subsidies ranging from 40% to 60%. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and small/marginal farmers will receive 50% to 60% subsidy, while other farmers will be eligible for 40% to 50% subsidy.
