Wheat prices remained strong in most markets, and in many mandis, rates traded above the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹2,425 per quintal.
A key highlight was the strong demand for good-quality and Sharbati wheat in several Maharashtra markets, where latest mandi prices ranged between ₹4,000 and ₹4,800 per quintal. Wheat prices in Delhi markets also stayed above MSP, providing relief to farmers.

The strongest price surge today was recorded in Kolhapur (Laxmipuri) and Sangli mandis of Maharashtra. High-quality wheat traded at ₹4,800 per quintal in Kolhapur and ₹4,200 per quintal in Sangli. In Kalyan APMC, Sharbati wheat was traded at elevated levels between ₹3,000 and ₹3,500 per quintal.
Delhi’s Najafgarh and Narela markets, wheat prices stayed above MSP, ranging from ₹2,511 to ₹2,626 per quintal, indicating steady demand in the capital region.
Terms of arrivals, Sangli (39.5 tons) and Kolhapur (29.9 tons) recorded relatively higher arrivals, yet prices remained firm. Meanwhile, markets like Kalyan, Katol, and Karmala saw arrivals below 1 ton, which supported higher prices due to limited supply.
