Farmer registration for procurement of wheat at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the Rabi Marketing Year 2026–27 will commence from February 7. The last date for registration has been fixed as March 7. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput has urged farmers to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeline.
The minister stated that the registration system has been made simple and farmer-friendly, and a total of 3,186 registration centres have been set up across the state. For the year 2026–27, the government has fixed the MSP for wheat at ₹2,585 per quintal, which is ₹160 higher than last year.
Farmers can register free of cost at facilitation centres established at Gram Panchayat and Janpad Panchayat offices, Tehsil offices, as well as at cooperative societies and cooperative marketing institutions.
Paid Registration: Registration at MP Online kiosks, Common Service Centres (CSC), Lok Seva Kendras, and private cyber cafés will be chargeable. The registration fee will not exceed ₹50. Farmers must provide land ownership documents, Aadhaar card, and other valid photo identity proof at the time of registration.
Facility for Special Categories of Farmers: Registration of tenant farmers (Sikmi), sharecroppers (Bataidar), Kotwars, and forest patta holders will be carried out only through cooperative societies and marketing institutions. Verification of these farmers will be done by the Revenue Department.
Payment Process: Payment for the procured crop will be made on a priority basis to the farmer’s Aadhaar-linked bank account. If payment through the Aadhaar-linked account is not possible, another bank account provided during registration may be used. Farmers must mandatorily submit the bank name, account number, and IFSC code during registration.

Verification Process: During registration, a ₹1 transaction will be initiated in the Aadhaar-linked bank account to verify the authenticity of the Aadhaar number and bank details.
Aadhaar Verification Mandatory: Aadhaar verification is mandatory for both registration and sale of wheat. Verification can be done through OTP sent to the Aadhaar-linked mobile number or via biometric devices. Registration will be considered valid only if the name in land records matches the Aadhaar card. In case of any discrepancy, verification will be carried out at the Tehsil office.
Farmer Awareness and Communication: Farmers whose mobile numbers are available from previous Rabi and Kharif registrations will be informed through SMS alerts. Instructions have also been issued to display registration information on notice boards at Gram Panchayats and to install banners at mandi levels. All concerned officials have been directed to ensure that the registration process is completed within the prescribed timeframe.
