Record Wheat Procurement at MSP in Ratlam: This year, wheat procurement at MSP in Ratlam district reached a record high. While only 54,608 tonnes were procured last year, the number rose to 1.10 lakh tonnes this year. According to District Supply Officer Anand Gole, a large number of farmers sold their wheat at the MSP this season.
Prices Likely to Rise Further: Traders at the market believe that due to increasing demand from flour mills, wheat prices could go up further by ₹50 to ₹100 per quintal in the coming days.
