Tomato Prices Today – 13 September 2025, India

Tomato prices across India’s wholesale markets fluctuated sharply today. In some regions, farmers received as little as ₹200 per quintal, while in Delhi’s Keshopur Mandi, prices soared to ₹3,200 per quintal. Major markets in Maharashtra such as Panvel and Kalmeshwar also reported highs of ₹3,000 per quintal. Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal and Hoshangabad mandis showed strong upward momentum, whereas Solapur and Kalyan recorded steep declines, causing losses to farmers.

The big question for producers is: which mandis are offering the best returns, and where are prices lowest?
Here’s the detailed state-wise market report:

  1. Send premium quality tomatoes to Delhi (Keshopur, Azadpur) and Maharashtra’s Panvel, Kalmeshwar mandis for maximum profits.
  2. In high-supply mandis like Azadpur, Mumbai, and Pune, prices are under pressure; if storage is available, holding produce may be better.
  3. Smaller markets with low arrivals are offering higher prices, making them profitable for immediate sale.
  4. Quality is key – premium tomatoes are fetching ₹3,000+ per quintal in leading markets.
