The Sant Ravidas Self-Employment Scheme, launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, is a progressive initiative aimed at empowering youth from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category by promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship. This scheme offers financial assistance exclusively for the establishment of new ventures.
The scheme is specifically designed for SC applicants aged between 18 and 45 years who have completed at least 8th grade. The applicant must be a permanent resident of the concerned district, and their family’s annual income should not exceed ₹12 lakh.
Manufacturing Sector Projects: Financial support is available for projects ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹50 lakh.
Service and Retail Sector Projects: Support is available for projects ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹25 lakh.
The applicant must not be a defaulter with any bank or financial institution and should not be a beneficiary of any other government-run self-employment scheme.
Eligible beneficiaries will receive an interest subsidy of 5% per annum on the outstanding loan amount for up to 7 years, provided the loan repayment remains regular.
The guarantee fee will be borne by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Entrepreneurship Training: Beneficiaries will be provided with a 12-day online Entrepreneurship Development Training as part of the scheme.
