Sehjanwa and Doharighat Record Highest Prices: As per today’s data, Sehjanwa Mandi recorded the highest potato prices ranging from ₹1790 to ₹1805 per quintal. Similarly, Doharighat Mandi reported strong prices between ₹1700 and ₹1800. On the contrary, mandis like Kairana, Gangoh, and Shadabad saw lower rates between ₹700 and ₹900 per quintal — making it difficult for farmers to recover their production costs.

Most Mandis See Prices Below ₹1000: In mandis such as Gangoh, Gulawati, Kairana, and Shadabad, minimum prices ranged from ₹700 to ₹900 per quintal — well below the break-even point for most farmers. Meanwhile, prices in Kamalganj, Kopaganj, Nautanwa, and Khalilabad hovered between ₹850 and ₹1100.

Heavy Arrivals in Several Mandis: Jaswantnagar Mandi recorded the highest arrival today at 105 tonnes, followed by Khalilabad with 65 tonnes and Kamalganj with 43 tonnes. Prices in these high-volume mandis remained moderate, mostly between ₹850 and ₹1100 per quintal.
