Farmers across India are eagerly waiting for the next installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. Farmers who secure a government job or become income-tax payers are no longer eligible for the scheme. Similarly, individuals receiving a monthly pension of ₹10,000 or more under any other government scheme will also be excluded from the PM-KISAN benefit.
